SEAMLESS 2020

Global hair and skincare category at mass retail decelerated in growth across all major markets (-1% pt), and global retailers urgently seek growth solution. Key issue is shoppers desire more ‘beauty’ involvement for shopping pleasure but perceive the mass retail shopping experience to be more like toiletries. And shopping habits are changing because popularity of online/mobile, smaller format stores, personalization and multiple delivery options with more choices and efficiency. Target to grow global beauty category sales +$1Bn in year 2025, Jackson partners with P&G Sales Team, led StartJG (agency) and designed online and offline 'omni-channel' shopping experience.

Jackson was responsible for overall design brief and briefing, established "# Hair & Beauty Studio" design vision, 2D, 3D design and Seamless 2025 video from script to final. Jackson also supervised and approved overall strategy include current omni-channel landscape assessment, role of digital vs. physical retail definition, 'Doing shopping' and 'Going shopping' roadmap creation, emotional and physical trigger for social and product trial.  Jackson co-led Gen Y Workshop to learn and validate with Market Research. Result: Jackson presented and rolled out the Seamless 2020 vision, the strategy and the design at Global Marketing Sales Summit, Barcelona. Endorsed by Global President and global beauty brand leaders. Aligned resource for pilot across China, Europe, Japan.
